Is it possible for elementary school students from underprivileged schools or disadvantaged areas to be able to participate on a national or even international scale?

The schools that are members of Terang Surabaya are starting to be introduced to the culture of competition. This can improve the school's reputation, the children's competitive mentality will be honed, and the school must be "forced" to continue to develop.

The first Surabaya team was represented by 4 Terang schools in the ASEAN level competition in December 2022. 

​

It turns out that beyond expectations, the four Terang schools managed to bring home gold medals at the 2022 Indonesia International Applied Science Project Olympiad (I2ASPO) at ITS, Surabaya. 

​

This proves that every child has equal potential and abilities, even from pre-prosperous schools.

The competition culture does not stop at this point, and we will continue to conduct auditions for future competitions.
