STUDY OF MEETING POINT

Kajian Titik Temu is a routine program by Nurcholish Madjid Society (NCMS).  Initially started from a religious studies club, now Kajian Titik Temu is conducted in various areas in order to study Pancasila Ideology and human values. The following are some of our collaboration programs:

EXPLORE THE ROOTS OF RADICALISM AND INTOLERANCE

Nurcholish Madjid Society (NCMS) alongside Lembaga Pendidikan Ma’arif Nahdlatul Ulama (LP Ma’arif NU) and Yayasan Indonesia Sejahtera Barokah (YISB) held Kajian Titik Temu with the theme of “Menggali Akar Radikalisme dan Intoleransi di Indonesia”.  This Discussion is held on October 25, 2018 with the goals of exploring the root causes of radicalism and intolerance in Indonesia, as well as the effort to prevent them. 

 

Omi Komaria Madjid, Chairman of The Board Directors of NCMS said that radicalism and intolerance can be solved by encouraging all nation’s elements to be humble in embracing their own religion. Ahmad Ishomuddin added, the religious community in Indonesia must return to the teachings of their respective religions, which teach kindness and love in life.

PANCASILA PRACTICE IN THE WORLD OF EDUCATION

Kajian Titik Temu, which was initially only a religious studies club, has now developed and is being conducted in various areas. Kajian Titik Temu themed “Praktik Pancasila dalam Dunia Pendidikan” aims to make educators and the civitas academica to be able to listen more and open more to various differences, especially in school or university environment 

MEMBANGUN MANUSIA INDONESIA DALAM PRESPEKTIF PANCASILA

Kajian Titik Temu which was held at Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) Surabaya on November 20, 2019 was attended by a number of figures from the biggest Islamic organization in Indonesia, such as PBNU, PP Muhammadiyah up to Jaringan Gusdurian. Collaborated with Nurcholish Madjid Society (NCMS) in hope to nourish unity and strengthen Pancasila Value and multiculturalism

 

“One way to keep unity from falling apart is to interact outside the “circle” of a group. This will provide a new perspective and nourish tolerance” said Inayah Wahid, the daughter of the 4th President, which is Abdurrahman Wahid.
